Drive back to visit one of eastern Crete’s oldest and prettiest villages, Kritsa. Located at an altitude of around 380m, Kritsa is known for its weaving art: look and feel the amazing crafts the village women create. The church of Panagia Kera is just a short drive away and contains some of Crete’s most beautiful Byzantine frescoes.
