On your way back to your hotel, it’s worth stopping in Fodele. El Greco (Dominikos Theotokopoulos) was one of the greatest painters and sculptors of the Spanish Renaissance. Fodele is believed to be his hometown and you can visit the beautiful El Greco house and museum which is at walking distance from the town. The area is full of orange groves: enjoy a freshly squeezed orange juice in one of the village’s cafes.
